Trained at BCIT in industrial education, Trevor spent his early career teaching architectural design, drafting, woodworking, metalwork, and math in Vancouver. At 22, he applied his growing skillset and business instincts to subdivide a property in Richmond and build his first family home — largely by hand, from framing to cabinetry and even custom furniture.
With that project, a lifelong passion took hold. Trevor left teaching to pursue construction full time, eventually becoming one of Vancouver’s most respected builders and real estate investors, applying his craft for adding value to his select clients and his own portfolio alike. For nearly five decades, he shaped T. Jones Group into a trusted name known for craftsmanship, integrity, and steady leadership.
Clients, trades, and realtors alike came to recognize a “Jones-built home” as a mark of quality, reliability, and lasting value. This bespoke approach and genuine aftercare for the inspired work product and the enduring relationships earned T. Jones Group a sterling reputation and referrals that delivered some of the Lower Mainland’s most admired residences and family legacies.
His belief that craftsmanship reflects character set the tone for the company. He was the builder who stayed late to perfect a detail, double-checked every finish, and personally helped homeowners settle into their new spaces. He supported apprentices, uplifted young trades, and passed on the knowledge that defined his career.

Immersed in the building process from the ground up, Cameron cultivated a discerning eye for detail and a clear understanding of how elevated design and precise execution come together to create enduring homes.
